Just Rambling #3 - Post Christmas Talk

Still no snow. There goes my Christmas wish.

My first  pixel art.
I've recently been obsessed with pixel art for some reason. I mean, isn't just so cool how a lot of little squares can make up a picture? Here's one that I've started out with. I might get involved with PixelPlaza if my obsession continues.

I might also be getting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 soon depending on the price. If so, Decent Gamer will be getting a lot of new content soon!

I'm writing a guide on Decent Gamer right now about Kino der Toten, so if you're interested, pop in there for a bit.

Happy post Christmas!

Merry Christmas 2011!

Merry Christmas world. Hope you all are having a nice night and are spending your time with your loved ones. Remember, once you`re done with Christmas, keep reading my blogs. Today's pageview counts sucks.

There's barely any snow up here, but I guess we don't have to shovel? My grown-up Christmas wish? Dunno. Weird to not have snow at Christmas, but the atmosphere is still definitely the same so it's okay.

Hope you guys are merry and festive!

Just Rambling #2 - Some Fries With That

This is officially my second rambling. Joy? Of course!

So today I visited a McDonalds. To my surprise, the person on the other side of the counter asked if I would like a medium or large Big Mac Sandwich. I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but have you ever been asked if you would like a medium or large Big Mac? Honestly, it's a Big Mac, so unless big came in two different sizes, I have been living under a rock for the past several years.

And then I went to go select a beverage. So let's see. Coke, Diet Coke, Coke-Zero, Pepsi, or Diet Pepsi? Dunno. All the same to me. I'm surprised people make such a big fuss about what kind of cola they want since they all pretty much taste the same. Some people might argue that Coke is better than Pepsi, or Pepsi is better than Coke, but in all honestly, both are made from the same recipes and both are just competing how well they can hide how many calories and chemicals are in one drink.

Man, I'm careful of how many times I eat at McDonalds. Ever since watching Supersize Me, every fast food restaurant scares me. I can't imagine how people can possibly stuff so many Macs down their throats in a month, but it seems humans apparently have large enough mouths to do so. Good thing I live in Canada. Can't Supersize Canadians can you McDonalds?

McDonalds is one of those places I go to unless there is actually nothing else around me. Sure, there might be some Chinese or Indian restaurants around me at all time, but I don't trust restaurants very much at all anyways, so it's one of those things where when I eat at McDonalds, it's like making a deal with the devil. But man, McDonalds actually tastes horrible. You can feel all the processed stuff in your stomach digesting. Harvey's on the other hand is really what all fast food restaurants should taste like. Everything is fresh! Their burgers, lettuce, even fries are fresh! Unfortunately for you Americans and the rest of the world, it's Canada unique. So unless you live in Canada or visiting, it must suck to be you.

And that's my highlight for today I guess. My stomach isn't exactly feeling so good right now…

Just Rambling #1 - Nothing in Particular

Honestly, I sometimes wonder why I even have this blog. Originally, I decided to make this so I can just talk about whatever I want, and I haven't been doing that. So from this day forth, I'm starting a series of "Ramblings" where I can just talk about whatever I feel like.

So Christmas is around the corner. And yeah. Honestly, I think snow has been pretty disappointing this year. I blame it all on global warming of course, but I guess there are more reasonable explanations such as warm air masses moving and something. Whatever. I'm not really complaining, but it feels weird to not see snow at this time of year.

Let's see. Let's talk about the recent Xbox update. I'm loving it quite a lot. I don't care too much for the new layout and theme, though I do enjoy the new "apps" area on my dashboard. Really, I can watch Youtube on my Xbox. How you like them apples, Playstation loyalists?

Talking about Youtube videos, check this out. I've been obsessed with this video. I just love how Russian traditional dances are. These guys make everything seem so easy. When I tried to hop around like that, I fell. And when I tried again, I fell. It was kinda a buzzkill, but eh. I'll practice.

I've also been watching a lot of Zero Punctuation videos. You know, the ones the guy reviewing games that talks really fast and has some sort of accent? Well that's him. Check out that link above here to go watch some of his videos. I found the Halo Wars review pretty funny.

I dunno. I just want to write something I guess. I'm at a point of life where I just want to write like crazy, but I don't really want to write about anything specific, you know? You'll see a lot more of these ramblings in the future. I just wanted to get my, um, feet wet.

Halo Wars is Heavenly

Halo Wars - 1
A long time ago, I bought Halo Wars from some used game store. I was freaking out, since I was (and still am) a huge Halo fan, and I never played a real-time strategy game with a touch of Spartans and Covenants.

I popped it into my Xbox's disc tray, and started playing through the campaign. Two things I didn't like right off the bat. Population limit. Expansion limitations.

I grew up playing Command & Conquer games. Firstly, I never played with a population limit (caps the max amount of troops you can have). This bothered me immensely as I love nothing more but to make a horde of troops to just crush my opponents. And secondly, I wasn't use to the expansion mechanics in Halo Wars. In games like Command & Conquer, I've always had to build my base, and continue expanding to make myself even more and more fortified. In Halo Wars, I was stuck with a base that maxed out at seven building spots and four turret placements.

Being immensely disappointed, I returned Halo Wars the next day.

So about a year has passed since then. The other day I talked with my Xbox friend. He offered me Halo Wars in return for another game. I accepted, and we traded games. I guess that after a year, my thoughts for Halo Wars must have changed.

Boy was I right. I've been playing Halo Wars for the past week. It's such an amazing game even though it's two years old now. Beautiful graphics, intelligent and clever game-play mechanics, and simply Halo.

I figure I hadn't played Halo Wars enough when I first got it to appreciate it enough. Halo Wars stands out uniquely among the real-time strategy games out there. I don't really care about population limits at this point, guess time do change hearts. And I finally understood how base expansion works.

Like I said before, a base is limited to seven building spots and four turret spots. I didn't know that in order to expand, I had to attack neutral bases or enemy bases and then by placing another base on there. And that opens up another seven spots and four turret mounts.

Happily content with the game settings now, I delved further into the game-play mechanics. So I found that Halo Wars really focuses on unit upgrades. So say I plop down a Scorpion. I can upgrade it to have canister shells so it can be more effective against infantry. Then I can upgrade it again and make it more combat reactive. And its final upgrade (Sergeant Forge only) upgrades the tank together into a Grizzly tank, a heavy almost invincible UNSC tank.

Halo Wars took another great leap by allowing the player to play as the UNSC or the Covenant forces. What's more is that each faction has three unique heroes that the player can play as. Each hero has their own unique effects and troops. I prefer Anders though, because I just won my first three versus three game online with her about an hour ago.

Oh, and I forgot to mention that Halo Wars still has an active gaming community, with at least 3500 players online at all times.

I'll stop raving now. I'll finish off by saying good job Ensemble for making such a good Halo game.

Why Hate Wikipedia?

Wikipedia's front page.
A lot of people bomb Wikipedia by saying it's an unreliable source of information. I say why?

This myth started because Wikipedia is a worldwide collective project. People can come and write pretty much write, edit, and delete anything.

There are and will always be those few annoying people who just come and be a nuisance. But there are, in fact, who truly do contribute to the database.

If you've ever checked the previous edits section, you can see all the edits made to a Wikipedia page. Few know that Wikipedia is intensely moderated by Wikipedia contributors and staff. You might ask how can they monitor millions of web pages at once. I don't know how they do it either, but that's simply how that works.

In a heartbeat, I can search up whatever I want and the chances are there's a relevant Wikipedia page about it. Usually, it doesn't display any junk, and it the information is summarized for everyone's convenience.

And here's the kicker. If you don't trust something on Wikipedia, there are citations that lead you to the source of that information so you can check for yourself.

I don't mind Wikipedia. Not sure why a lot of people don't like Wikipedia. Just throwing it out there, that Wikipedia is a nice place to get information quickly.

Phantom Brave, Best Turn-Based Strategy Game Ever

Nippon Ichi Software honestly makes the best strategy games ever. Of one of their numerous successes, I think Phantom Brave is one that will be forever famous.

Phantom Brave introduces a revolutionary new game-play mechanic. A free grid movement and attacking system. If you haven't noticed yet, pretty much every turn-based game is either one, like Final Fantasy where you tell your guys what to do, or two, moving your characters on a grid. In Phantom Brave, you're allowed to move your guys and objects in pretty much any direction. There is no grid to keep them locked in an area. In fact, certain characteristics of the map might even make you slide or bounce.

Aside from the battle itself, there are numerous other features of Phantom Brave. For one, you can explore and decorate your little island with items you collect or buy. On this island, you can fuse objects or even characters together to make stronger objects.

Here's something you don't find in too many games. Phantom Brave can randomly generate maps to play on. Clearing these randomly generated maps can grant your items and characters bonuses.

If you're a fan of Nippon Ichi Software games, then you'll notice many references to other games made by them, namingly Disgaea. I won't say anything. That's for you to find out.

Although this game was released to North America in 2004, this is truly one of the most unique turn-based strategy games ever made. There is currently a remake for the Nintendo Wii and Playstation Portable. If you're a fan of Nippon Ichi Software or strategy games, Phantom Brave and its remakes are definitely something you would want to check out!

Elites Getting on Your Nerves?

I don't know about you, but my experiences with the Elites (Sangheili) from the Halo Universe has been the cause for a large majority of deaths my spartan had.

And so I wrote everyone a tiny guide on how to deal with Elites on Halo: Reach.

If anyone wants to read this useful article on how to kill Elites, click here. If anyone simply wants to improve their gaming skills, visit Decent Gamer, my blog on improving gaming skill and tactics.

And I just got a chance to play Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary tonight, and I'm happy to say that it's going quite well for me. The Grunt Funeral Skull's been helping me a bit, and the overpowered pistol is always fun to knock Covenant off.

Random Fun Facts 6-10

Here comes the second set of random fun facts.

Fun Fact 6: UNSC Light Tank
In the Halo universe, the United Nations Space Command's main battle tank is the M808B "Scorpion". Did you know this is considered a light tank. What a joke that is! You'd think that if humans had ordnance as strong as the Scorpion that they'd be winning the Covie/Flood war easily.

Fun Fact 7: Trekkies to Stargate
Last time I checked the Stargate Wiki, at least 30 actors from the Star Trek series have made some sort of appearance in the Stargate series.

Fun Fact 8: Smallest Country in the World
The smallest country in the world is Vatican City, with a size of less than half a square kilometer.

Fun Fact 9: End of the World?
The Mayan calender ends on December 21, 2012. End of the world? Probably not. Time to get a new calender? Probably.

Fun Fact 10: Elephant Athletics
Elephants can't jump.

Louis Ferreira who plays in the Stargate Universe character Colonel Everett Young, has played Trevis, the holographic Star Trek character. Quite a difference in character no?

NPC Allies are Funny

Have you ever noticed that NPC allies in first-person shooter games are almost never helpful?

Like I said, I kinda started out with Halo 3. I noticed that in comparison with Master Chief's large stature, the small little Marines really couldn't compare with a Spartan's strength, which I respect. What really bothered me was how even the Marines couldn't hold themselves together when engaging weak enemies like Grunts. After taking few shots they just die without actually giving any useful help.

Then came the Call of Duty craze. In the jungles of Japan, my American soldiers and I attacked. A squadron of Japanese troops ambushed us, and I dived to the nearest cover I could find. Bullets flew everywhere, and I remained in cover waiting for reinforcements. More American soldiers came. Just when I was about to go over the top, all my new buddies got shot down while running into the battlefield. So I waited even longer. More came and more fell without even firing a single shot.

A few weeks ago, I started to get into Gears of War. Other than Baird who got lucky with a few frag grenades, my NPC allies did utterly nothing. Any Stranded or COG Gears were popped in the head the moment they entered the firefight. My ally heroes did some damage I suppose, but not enough to really help me in any way.

Playing Halo: Reach one time, Jun and his apparently pin-point accuracy skimmed my Spartan in the middle of a firefight, resulting in the death of Noble Six.

I'm just wondering if any first-person shooter game has an effective NPC support system. Honestly, team-mates who just run up to be shot at are pretty much useless other than being an ineffective bullet-soaker. Then again, I guess that if the NPCs could do something to help, it'd kinda take off too much of the challenge needed to beat a game.

Not that I'm complaining. I still get the job done, but it's funny to watch my professional ally soldiers get torn apart by Grunts.

Excited for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversery

So, it's the twelfth today, and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will be released in three days. I'm pretty much freaking out right now.

If you don't already know, I'm a huge Halo fan. I have really vague recollections of playing Halo 2 at a friend's place, but Halo 3 is really where I began. In fact, with Fable 2, Halo 3 was the first game that came with my Xbox 360.
My Halo 3 stats.
Screenshot taken from Bungie's site.

Its graphics stunned me since I upgraded from a Playstation 2 to an Xbox 360 very late, so I was somewhat unfamiliar with Xbox 360 video games. Just looking at the graphics in Halo 3 made me say wow. And since I never get to, I just want to flash my solid stats out there.

I never really got into playing Halo 3: ODST and Halo Wars, but Halo: Reach was the next big thing to happen to me in the Halo universe. I excelled at that too by the way.
My Halo: Reach stats.
Screenshot taken from Bungie's site.
I've spent countless nights just reading random and pointless trivia of the Halo universe on the Halo Wiki, and at some time I got sucked into the whole story.

In this time, I've become a pretty big Halo nerd. As a rule, I always play the first game in a trilogy before playing the next, and I've never even seen Halo: Combat Evolved game-play before. I consider that a taboo for myself. Halo: Combat Anniversary will definitely be a mind blower for my understanding of Halo.

This is going to be great. I'll post my review on Why It's Awesome! after it is released and some experience.

Back to Neopia

Just for complete laughs, I made myself a new account on Neopets. I used to be on this site whenever I had free time when I was a child, and I really wanted to see what they've added in my absence.

For one, I truly appreciate the much dimmed down sign up form. It used to to require addresses and phone numbers and a truckload of other personal information. Now, all it wants is an email address and a username. So many congratulations!

Swift604, my new Eyrie Neopet.
Let's see if I remember, start bank account, play Meerca Chase, and get rich.

I see that they've updated their banking screen very nice. I don't see Meerca Chase anymore. I guess it's in the game graveyard isn't it? How unfortunate. Well at least they've replaced it with Meerca Chase II.

And now to get rich.

Sniper Rifle?

Gun enthusiast? Play a lot of video games?

Well I bet you don't know this. There really is no such thing as a sniper rifle. Confused? Keep reading.

Here's a small cut from my article:

This is a small and common mistake people make. If you'd like to learn more about a sniper rifle (sniper's rifle), just visit my article about a sniper's rifle.

Runescape's Bot Nuke Brings Peace

One day after Runescape's big macro nuke, all the bots in Runescape have been banned. I don't remember seeing such nice views without my screen full of bots anymore. It truly is a nice view of the game. Here's a sight I've never seen before.

I don't ever remember seeing a sight like this. Wondering what's missing? People. Don't believe me? Check out my mini-map when I was at the wilderness.

My goodness. Even the green dragons' respawn rate has greatly increased, though I think this is only because of the bot nuke celebration. Although empty now, I highly doubt it will stay this way for long.

As I was traveling to other parts of Runescape that used to be inhabited by bots, I traveled to Feldip Hills, where the red chinchompas spawn. Check this out.

Empty! Not a single bot to be seen. Before the update, the land was littered with bots and their traps hoping to get one ore two catches every minute. Without them, the green grass of Feldip Hills look much more cleaner.

Then I traveled to the most spam-filled, bot infested area in Runescape. And guess what I found.

The Grand Exchange's center fountain.

Peace and quiet.

On a side note, Runed Games will likely be filled with a plethora of more money-making guides. I hope you guys enjoy the new bot-free Runescape!

Random Fun Facts 1-5

I've decided to start posting little fun facts I find interesting on this blog. Just relax and chill. Maybe laugh a bit or think about some of this stuff.

Fun Fact 1: Terry Fox's Real Name
I bet you don't know that Terry's real name is Terrance Stanley Fox. Just thought I should throw out there that Terry and I share a similar pronunciation on our first names.

Fun Fact 2: Watching Television is Not Bad For You
Physically anyways. The old televisions had lead in them, and obviously staring at a heated box full of lead for an entire day could be pretty bad. Watching television is now safe. As long as you don't become obsessed with it.

Fun Fact 3: Colonel Jake O'Niall From RuneScape
If you've ever watched Stargate SG-1, then you'll see the similarities between Colonel Jack O'Neill of the Stargate program and Colonel Jake O'Niall from Slug Menace.

Fun Fact 4: What Does Dood Mean?
If you've ever seen a Prinny from Disgaea, then you must've heard it say dood at some point of their phrases. The word dood means death in Dutch.

Fun Fact 5: Titanic and Titanic Movie Cost Comparison
The Titanic move costed almost thirty times more to make than the actual Titanic ship.

I've always wanted to share random pieces of trivial knowledge, and so I will. Keep updated to find more random fun facts.

Is the Ford Mustang Really a Mustang?

If you like cars, then you must know the Ford Mustang.

The Ford Mustang is famous for many reasons, including its speed, strength, and durability, but especially for that silver horse on the front.

Curious? Here's a teaser of my whole article of the Ford Mustang's name:

Mud and Blood 2, Fun Game

I've been trying out Blogger's new dynamic look, and it has been going along fine so far.

In one of my blog's latest articles, I wrote a review about a flash game I like very much. The flash game can be found in many game sites, especially Kongregate. This article is about Mud and Blood 2.

Mud and Blood 2 is a great real-time strategy game that allows you to command Allied troops in fending off wave after wave of Nazi soldiers.

Here's what a part of my article looks like (click to enlarge:

Blogger's New Dynamic Look

I am having so much fun with Blogger's new dynamic template.

A quick shot of my new blog.

I've generally ignored Blogger Buzz's updates, until it's first update on dynamic views. I then started a new blog about a subject I've been thinking of talking about for while now, flash games.

With the new dynamic template, my new blog about flash games is beautifully made with plenty of dynamic features and views. It is very limited with customization options, limited to only being black and white without any gadgets. Fortunately, the Blogger Buzz touched on the subject and said that much more customization options will become available in the near future.

In the meantime, feel free to check out my new blog's first posts.

10000 Gamerscore Milestone

After about a year and a half now, I've finally broken my 10000th Gamerscore! After playing wide variety of games, especially from Halo games, I've finally accumulated enough to have five digits in my Gamerscore.

Amusingly, my latest achievement to bring me this high is Castle Crasher's Traditional achievement for beating the game with any character. I'd always thought that my 10000th Gamerscore would be from something from Halo, Call of Duty, or even Gears of War, but as it turns out my final achievement was an achievement from an arcade game made by Newgrounds.

Well, it'll probably be a while until I hit six digits, but I am determined to get there one day.

Gears of War 3, I'm Just Getting Started

After spending a day at a friend's house, I decided to get Gears of War 3 since it made a good impression on me. I haven't played any other game since.

Gears of War 3 was a very pleasent surprise for me. I've only ever played Gears of War 2 for a few hours, and I've never seen the original Gears of War. After learning a bit about the Gears of War 3 (that intro video is very nice), I've found that the plot and history is well developed and is going somewhere, unlike some other very average video games.

It surprises myself when I think that Gears of War 3 might even be able to combat Halo: Reach. In gameplay anyways, nothing really can beat Halo's long and sophisticated plot.

I greatly enjoy playing on Gears of War 3's Horde and Beast game modes. Horde reminds me of Call of Duty's Nazi Zombies where you would survive waves of waves of enemies. It's great that horde mode shares many similarities with Nazi Zombies, as well as having fun characteristics of it's own.

Horde mode, like Nazi Zombies, has a currency that is awarded when you slaughter enemies. The money earned can go toward buying weapons (on the floor, not wall), or even fortifications to defend yourself from Locust and Lambent invaders. This adds a whole other level of gameplay and planning, and planning is only in games that are well made. There's even a boss wave every ten waves to spice things up a bit. In my opinion, that kinda beats Nazi Zombies by about a mile and a half.

Beast mode is also very entertaining. Instead of playing as desperate human survivors, Beast mode allows me to play as a Locusts themselves and try to rid twelve waves of humans. Beast mode is almost like Horde mode, except flipped.Stranded and COG Gears would set up fortifications and defences, while arming themselves with weapons as well to try to fend off you and your team of Locusts. With a variety of Locusts to choose from, you can choose any character to reflect your personal tastes.

I've also forgot to mention that Horde and Beast mode allows up to five players to be on a co-operative team, upping Nazi Zombies four players. Just saying.

Online matchmaking is truly difficult. I find that whoever is proficient in using the two shotguns in the game generally win each game, though I guess skill will eventually come with experience. Online multiplayer is very balanced. You team levels are usually split as even as possible, and NPC allies come play with you when real matchmakers can't connect to your game.

Occasionally, I'd have to wait several minutes before joining a game of any sorts. I have noted that all my games so far are not affected by lag. All my games have run smoothly so far, and I believe that to be well worth the wait.

I truly am excited to own and play Gears of War 3. It might be a bit hard for me right now, but hey, I'm just getting started.

The Naming of the Ford Mustang

Today, I felt like taking a change. Instead of writing about video games, I wrote about a car!

You've probably seen a Ford Mustang before. Have you ever wondered why the Ford Mustang is named the mustang, and why there's an icon of a horse on it? In yet another Triond article, I've written a small article about how the Ford Mustang got its name.

Here's a small cut from my article:

Like many ill-informed people out there, you’d likely think the Ford Mustang is named after the mustang horse. In a nutshell, a mustang is a famous horse known for its strength, stamina, and speed, like the car. A mustang is also known for its untamed freedom. So it’s definitely an ideal image for an awesome car. However, the car isn’t named after the horse.

If you've ever wondered how the Ford Mustang got its name, just visit my article about how the Ford Mustang got its name, click here.

A Quick Guide About Stealing in Assassin's Creed 2

For the past few days, I have been obsessed with playing Assassin's Creed 2 for some reason. I admit, its pretty fun, but also very easy as well.

I've been raving Triond for a few days now. I've yet again submitted another article on Triond, this time, it's about stealing in Assassin's Creed 2.

Well here's something to get you ready for the article:

Firstly, choose a hunting ground. The villa is not recommended as the people there are low class and don’t carry much with them. A good choice would be Florence. Choosing a location makes notoriety more manageable and controllable. You wouldn’t want every city to be head hunting you right?

My article pretty much just gives a few quick tips to help you get started on profiting off other's hard work. To read my article about stealing in Assassin's Creed 2, click here.

Falling in Love With Triond

I think I'm falling in love with Triond.

Triond lets me publish articles about pretty much anything, which is awesome just by that. Although I'm having relative success on my Runed Games blog as well as Decent Gamer blog, they are very niche restricted. For example, when I write on Decent Gamer, I generally only write about gaming-related articles.

On Triond, I can spawn multiple articles about a single subject. For example, if I were to write a review about a movie, I could also write about what I liked and disliked of the movie, I could critique it, I could talk about the special effects used, and I could go on. Articles on Triond don't have to be super-long, but just relative to the subject and in some way useful or entertaining. What's great is that Triond publishes my articles on subject-related websites, so I get quite a few pageviews for each article everyday, accumulating to a decent profit.

So far I'm loving Triond. If you want to visit my profile on Triond, just click here. Keep on reading!

Triond and Nature Runes in Runescape

Several days ago, I signed up on a website named Triond. Triond allows you to publish articles on popular and topic related websites, while paying you a cut of the money made off advertisements and pageviews.

Being new to this site, I started out with publishing an article about something I know a bit about, Runescape. My article describes the impact on nature runes from botting. Triond published my article on a well known video game website, Gameolosophy.

Here's a small section of my work:

After a tedious amount of updates on Runescape, the nature rune market has been unpredictably fluctuating. Now, after the storm has passed, nature runes have been reshaped into an almost different item.

Nature runes are at record breaking low prices. This started when Runescape re-allowed free trade, allowing tradable items to be traded without limitations. This update also unintentionally invited bots - also known as macro programs - to enter the game. For the majority of players who choose to play the game fairly, this sparked an outrage.

The full article talks about how nature runes are being seen today, as well as how they compare to their earlier versions. To read the full article about nature runes, click here.

Learn More About Halo: Reach Vehicles

Sure, you might know a bit about the vehicles in Halo: Reach, but you might not know that tanks are vulnerable to sniper fire and that the revenant is the only Covenant vehicle to have a passenger seat. I've just written and published an article on Helium about all the driveable vehicles in Halo: Reach.

Here's a small tidbit of my work:

Warthog – The warthog is a reliable and sturdy vehicle. Warthogs have a driver’s seat, a gunning position on the rear, and a passenger seat. Halo: Reach has four warthog variants.

The first variant is merely a warthog with a gun, allowing extra NPCs to ride on one. The second is widely seen and used within the UNSC, which is the warthog a machine gun turret. The machine gun turret can easily mow down infantry, and do considerable damage to other vehicles. Gauss warthogs can also be seen and occasionally used. Gauss warthogs fire a powerful and accurate stream of blue laser…

The full article includes a description for every operable vehicle on Halo: Reach (excluding the pelican and phantom easter-eggs). To read the full article about Halo: Reach vehicles, click here.

Make sure you visit my Helium profile and read other interesting original content written by me.

Playing The Sims Social on Facebook

My Sim blogging on the net.
I never thought it would happen, but apparently at some point of time, it did. It is possible to play The Sims on Facebook! This really was a pleasent surprise for me, even though it shares several similarities with the Zynga games out on the net.

Rest assured, this is not a fan-made game. It's relatively decent with many of traditional Sims features. This particular version is cleverly named The Sims Social. You can gain skills, have personalities, visit friends, and use the toilet.

Within my first 10 minutes of playing The Sims Social, I've become friends with Bella, I've learned how to play some scales on a guitar, and I earned Simoleans from blogging on the net. Irony is funny.

I have a lot of hope towards this game being unique and fun. I'll keep posting my Sims' experiences. In the meantime, I need to fill my 30 neighbor slots, so if you're up to it, friend up with me and we'll rock out together!

This Blog's First Post

Welcome to Terrence's blog.

I surf the internet with the screen name The 604 and I own and right on several other blogs and websites.

In all honesty, this blog is really the byproduct of several failures. I seem to have problems placing my personal thoughts on the internet while balancing my other niche-specific blogs. This isn't my first attempt at making a personal blog. I've tried managing a blog named The 604 HQ which ultimately turned out to be a total mess. I've also tried to manage another blog that won't be named.

I won't be surprised if this blog won't last either, but I will try my best to maintain this site. I hope you enjoy  my thoughts and ideas in future posts.
